About

A new community of growth leaders needed a brand of its own.

Growth Blazers (GB) is a community of success-driven marketers and growth leaders from around the world who come together to share, support, and strategize in a single, high-growth ecosystem. They offer a global infrastructure that gives professionals access to the latest growth strategies.

Networking is a critical component of success for marketers, business people, and future leaders — and Growth Blazers is pioneering a new way to build a networking community centered on growth and professional advocacy. Oak Theory worked with the GB team to develop a brand image that felt relatable, modern, approachable, and simple, positioning them to stay competitive with industry peers.

The challenge

One master brand, many summit sub-brands, one editable system.

Growth Blazers needed a brand flexible enough to unify a global community while still differentiating each of its conferences — and practical enough that their own team could keep producing materials after handoff.

  • Master brand vs. sub-brands. Identifying a clear master brand for GB while creating differentiated sub-brands for each summit through distinct visual elements — colors and graphic treatments unique to each event.
  • Consistency across content types. Maintaining visual consistency across all slides regardless of content type — copy-heavy, graphic-heavy, or visual-first — so every deck felt part of one system.
  • Built for reuse. Delivering an editable format so GB's team could confidently produce future iterations of the deck without design support.
  • Competitive differentiation. Running a SWOT analysis of competitors and selecting graphic elements and a color palette that clearly differ in style from the rest of the industry.
  • Practical handoff. Building the design in a graphic editor, then transferring it into Google Slides for GB's day-to-day use.

What we did

Scope of engagement

What we made

01

A brand identity built to stand out.

Oak Theory designed Growth Blazers' logo, developed a color palette and overall visual approach, and built tangible visual assets for their website and marketing materials.

We ran a SWOT analysis of competing communities and conferences, then selected graphic elements and a palette that clearly differentiate GB from the rest of the industry — relatable, modern, and approachable rather than corporate.

02

A master brand with room for sub-brands.

We identified a clear master brand for Growth Blazers while creating differentiated sub-brands for each summit. Every event gets its own distinct color and graphic treatment while still feeling unmistakably part of GB — one system, many voices.

Visual consistency was enforced across every slide regardless of content type — copy-heavy, graphic-heavy, or visual-first — so every deck reads as part of one system.

03

Sponsorship decks built for reuse.

With clear brand goals in place and a team ready to launch their new identity, we also designed prospectus sponsorship decks and landing page banners for their conferences.

The decks were built in a graphic editor, then transferred into Google Slides for GB's day-to-day use — an editable format so the team could confidently produce future iterations without design support.
